Notes for Henry ASSIRE
During 1830 they migrated to Mechanic Twp., Holmes Co., OH. Henry was a Justice of the Peace in Mechanic Twp. Sometime after 1850 he sold his farm in Ohio to his nephew, Alexander, son of Leonard Assire, and is believed to have moved his family to Indiana, near South Bend. The 1840 Census, Holmes County, Ohio, indicates they were parents of six children.
