Notes for Susanna MILLIRON
A Butler County [PA] history gives the following about the Beighley family:
The "Beighley's" came from Washington and Westmoreland Counties.
The "Beighley" name has been spelled - - "Beighle" and "Weighley". They were Palatinates from Germany.
It would now seem that the George Beighley, whose wife was Jane, might be the son of Susanna Milliron and Peter Beighley. In the 1850 Census, Catherine Beighley's House was #186, and George Beighley's house was #185. George's farm could be the farm which was settled by Susanna and Peter Beighley when they came to Butler County. They were either dead in 1850 or had moved out of Connoquenessing Township.
