Obituary dated 1988: "James K. Cribbs, 83, of 30 Beltz Road, Home, died Friday, Sept. 30, 1988, at the Indiana Hospital. The son of James G. and Mary Elizabeth McKee Cribbs, he was born Jan. 25, 1905, in South Mahoning Township, Indiana County. Mr. Cribbs lived his entire life in South Mahoning Township and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Surviving is one brother, Walter C., Home (PA). He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Cloud; and one sister, Alberta Parsons. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Robinson-Lytle's Indiana, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Reid S. Blystone officiating. Interment will be in the Marion Center Cemetery." |
