1) They were living in Coahoma Co. during the 1900 census. 2) Mary's will is filed in the Chancery Clerk's office in Clarksdale, MS and is dated 14 June 1948 and was filed March 4, 1957. 3) They are both buried in the Shufordsville Cemetery in Lyon, MS. 4) There was a John Cribbs who married a Polly Cockrell in Greene Co., AL on 24 April 1869. Since this was the ONLY John Cribbs recorded to have lived in Alabama at this time, we may assume Polly was his first wife. |
