Notes for Edward Dean (9) STRAIGHT

Edward was a career Service man, He was in the army from the time he was 17 till
he was killed in a motor cycle accident in Colorado Springs, Co. He was on his
way home one night after work, on his cycle when a car with no lights turned in
front of him, he laid his bike down, but at highway speed it didn't help him. He
was decapitated. Ed was a paratrooper, his rank was E-6 at the time of his
death. He is buried in Soldier Field at Denver CO. He has a marker in the family
plot, in Carnarvon, IA. His wife refused to let us bring him home.
