6. James Jordan (Thomas) (Thomas) born 23 January 16665/6 married 29 May 1688 Elizabeth Ratcliff born 21 sept 1668 died 30 Aug. 1695 daughter of Richard Ratcliff. he held 270 acres in Isle of Wight County, 1714. his will, 8 October 1732-22? jan. 1732/3 named his children.

Nothing in this refers to Jonus. I will continue to look and try to locate the source for my Jonus posting.

This clearly states that James Jordan, the grandson of Samuel, ancient planter, did in fact hold land in Isle of Wight.
