Notes for Martha Roseann PARKS
In a letter written by James Parks, they refer to him as "Mitchel".
After Isaac's death, (1862-1870), Martha left Alabama traveling by train with her three young sons and a married daughter; Martha Jane Newton Burch. Their journey ended in Mountain Springs, Cooke County, Texas, north of Gainsville. She bought a farm near her daughter and operated it until her death in 1884.
