Ezekiel moved to California about 1854,, where he died in 1858. He is buried in the Masonic Cemetery in Los Angeles, CA.

Ezekial settled in Felton, California and was very sucessful as manufactures of Farm Machinery. The "Rubottom Plow" was widly used in California in the 1800's and 1900's. His descendants are still living in California.
