At the age of 12, after both Robert's parents were dead, he went to Colorado with an uncle. He lived with two dear foster parents there; Mr. Dean Allison and his wife Anne, and Mr. & Mrs. Wortman, both of Olathe, Colorado. The Allison's lived their lives in Olathe, just outside of town on a few acres, but the Wortman's later moved to Alamosa, Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Allison had an adopted son, I believe by the name of Richard. The Wortman's had two daughters by the names of Clarice and Nadine. Clarice and her husband ran a Dude Ranch up in the mountains of Montrose, Colorado for many years.
The Wortman's had a Sheep Ranch in Alamosa, and raised and sold prized Iris Bulbs.
Robert always had nothing to say but good thoughts about his two foster parents, and they of him. Which was normal, because he was raised completely by the two families, and loved them dearly.
