Pearl's obituary:
"Pearl C. Peeples, 90, of Savannah, Georgia, formerly of Ravenel, S.C., widow of Nathan B. Peeples died Sunday morning in a Savannah hospital.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at 2 o'clock in Sauldam Baptist Church, Ravenel. Burial, directed by JAMES A. DYAL FUNERAL HOME, will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Sauldam Baptist Church, Ravenel from 12 o'clock until service time.
Mrs. Peeples was born on October 29, 1911, in Stilson, Georgia, a daughter of the late George H. Cribbs and Ammie Jane Dixon.
She attended Bulloch County Schools in Stilson, Georgia. She was a former employee of the American Tobacco Company. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Maude Postell Sunday School Class and a member of Sauldam Baptist Church.
Surviving are sisters, Mittie McAllister, Iver Davis, Wilma Lowe of Savannah, Ga., Elouise Wheatley of Tampa, Fla. and Betty Coursey of Port Wentworth, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.
