Memorial Services Thursday, October 17, 2002 at 10:00 am at Kincannon Funeral Home at Altus with Adrian Marshall officiating.
Cremated on October 14, 2002 and will have a stone at the Altus City Cemetery at Altus, OK
Everett Cullen Cribbs
Everett Cullen Cribbs was born May 1, 1913, in Coleman, Johnston County, OK to Elbert Cullen and Brunette Irene (Griffin) Cribbs. He married Bernice Christine Warden, daughter of Samuel W. Warden and Minnie K. DeSpain, on April 18, 1938, in Altus, OK. He farmed and later became a paint and drywall contractor until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and children. Babies especially delighted him. He was an active member of the Altus Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for the past sixty-nine years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Osbon Ennis Cribbs. He is survived by his wife Bernice of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Cody Glynn Cribbs and wife Loretta, Geary Don Cribbs and wife Linda, all of Altus. two daughters, Karen Annette Draper, Altus, and Donna Sue Cowden, Fountain Hills, AZ; twelve grandchildren, Eric Cribbs and wife Tina, McKinney, TX, Trace Cribbs, Harrold, TX, Breck Cribbs and wife Brenda, Altus, Todd Waldroop and Becky Waldroop, Altus, Parrish Netherton, Fountain Hills, AZ, Justin Waldroop and wife Amy, Hollister, OK, Farrah (Cribbs) Tebow and husband Bill of Edmond, OK, Garrett Netherton and wife B.J., Ft. Collins, CO, Kade Netherton, Fountain Hills, AZ, Jimmy Rogers and wife Mary, Altus, and Brandi Richards, Altus; ten great-grandchildren, Deric Cribbs, Killeen, TX, Dustin Cribbs, Burgundy Cribbs, Lynda and Michael Drew Culpepper, Erin Waldroop, Christie and Aaron Rogers and Kelly Richards, all of Altus, Autumn Netherton, Boulder, CO; three great-great grandchildren, Trinity and Cody Cribbs, Killeen, TX and Ryan Rogers, Altus; two sisters-in-law, Modelle (Warden) Lovett, Moore, and Lucille Gray of Sallisaw and many friends.
